The Jyn Erso Appreciation Squad is dedicated to celebrating the lead heroine of Rogue One and creating new content centered around her. She is an avid gif-maker and pretty much knows everything there is to know about Rogue One. Rogue One, in particular, continues to be a formative influence on her and the character of Jyn Erso marks the first time she has been able to see herself onscreen in a long time.

Her love for Star Wars only began during the Sequel Trilogy Era, but it is nonetheless intense and profound. Needing a further outlet for her immense adoration, she created this blog with Meg. ★ jemmasimmons: Maggie is the co-creator of The Jyn Appreciation Squad! This long-time Star Wars fan had her passion reinvigorated when Rogue One gave her one of the most beautiful found families she could have hoped for, along with one fantastically complex, interesting and wonderful female leads: Jyn Erso. She expresses her love for Jyn via gifs, but also like to dabble in fanfiction. With Maggie, she wanted to create a haven for fans of Jyn Erso and a central location for new content about Jyn. Since getting the fandom bug again, she has written over 130,000 words of fanfiction and even tried her hand at edits. ★ ladytharen: Meg is the co-creator of The Jyn Appreciation Squad! A second-generation Star Wars fan, she was swept away by the characters of Rogue One and its lead heroine, Jyn Erso.
